The collection of items in my backpack and hands this morning hit a new level of curiosity... or might I say 'diversity':

* The normal collection of paper and notebooks

* 'A Mapmaker's Dream' and my sketchbook for my thesis work

* My laptop and charger...

* Digital camera, its charger and the connector cable to my computer

* The new Hitachi 18v cordless drill I purchased recently

* 1 terabyte external hard drive for video editing

* A collection of MiniDV tapes of choreographic, performance and video work from last year

* The $1.99 coffee and bagel special I got from Brugger's

* The Krispy Kreme donut I got suckered into buying to support some engineering frat

Here we go grad school!

why?

Well, oddly enough, I was just talking with my "boss" about how little time I've spent in the blog realm, and also how getting our instructors to contribute to the company blog might be akin to pulling teeth. So I figured maybe this is a good time to launch a personal one. Not "My Diary" or my deepest inner pleasures/turmoil kind of stuff... but perhaps I have some thoughts and observations that might strike a chord with people...
